Vanilla Coffee:
Leave a vanilla bean exposed to the air until it becomes hard. Break off a small piece and add to your coffee beans in the grinder. Never use a knife to cut a hard bean – we recommend you break or chop the bean. After tasting your coffee, adjust the amount of vanilla used for future blends to meet your taste preference. Vanilla Sugar:
Leave a vanilla bean exposed to the air until it becomes hard and place in a coffee grinder, grind and add to your sugar. Use this to flavor other products such as tea, coffee, cereal etc. Experiment to find the right amount of vanilla that you need to meet your preferred taste. (posted by OV)
